In the mid-20th Century, in the Middle East, several historically hereditary monarchies managed to survive both world wars, remaining independent and retaining their original form of government. Among these were Badarstan, Dherain, Kimrouk, Ughastan, and Zarikan.
In Ughastan in 1953, Chop-Chop was duped into eloping with the beautiful princess, who upon escaping the palace and the capital city, and being flown to distant Manoa Island, immediately dumped Chop Chop and hooked up with a her real boyfriend.
