The Underworld is a realm that exists in the New 52 Multiverse and is located in the metaphysical reality known as the Sphere of the Gods.
History
Like all the realms in the Sphere of the Gods, the Underworld has a companion realm that serves as its polar opposite. In the Underworld's case, its companion is Skyland.[1]
The Underworld includes all the lands of the dead and prison dimensions believed in by the ancient cultures of the planet Earth, as well as the Phantom Zone of Krypton.
