Synopsis for Unknown Soldier: "Legends Never Die!"

Winter, 1944, the German Army are preparing to break through at the Battle of the Bulge. The enemy forces are mobilizing on St. Just, where it is being desperately defended by U.S. Army unit Fox Company. General "Ike" is ordering a giant counterattack by all Army groups, but it will only take three or four days for them to arrive at St. Just. The General orders the Unknown Soldier to assess the soldiers at St. Just.

The Unknown Soldier, disguised as U.S. Army Corporal Dan Browne, is airdropped at St. Just and is held at gunpoint by Fox Company. The soldiers are wary of "Browne" as they believe he might be a German soldier in disguise. So "Browne" answers correctly to a Popeye question given by Fox Company, who then welcomes him. "Browne" is briefed that the enemy have tanks and the men are badly demoralized. Prior to arriving to St. Just, "Browne" was given intel that there is collaborator in the town's boarded-up streets. He locates the collaborator, Marcel Moreau, and kills him and assumes his identity. He then meets with the German commander out in the woods and falsely informs him of an undefended place in the American defense line.

Instead, the Soldier leads the German Tiger tanks to a frozen swamp where they become trapped in the muck. Fox Company immediately takes the opportunity to destroy the tanks. With the Germans defeated, Fox Company's morale is significantly raised and they can now hold the line. Thus allowing enough time for the American counterattack to commence.

The Unknown Soldier returns to Paris and inform the success at St. Just to Ike.
