Synopsis: The Unknown Soldier penetrates Hitler's bunker in Berlin. He assasinates Hitler and Eva Braun, then impersonates him in order to prevent the launch of Hitler's Doomsday weapon.

This issue shipped on July 22nd, 1982.

Although this is the last chronological appearance of the Unknown Soldier, he appears again in a four-issue limited series written by Garth Ennis, which takes place some time prior to his death in this issue.

This issue takes place on April 30th 1945.

Trivia

So far as the historical record is concerned, Adolph Hitler and his bride, Eva Braun took their own lives on April 30th 1945.
