Uriah Mowcher invented a Time Machine in the 1930s.
History
In 1935, in New York City, historian Oliver Weed met scientist Uriah Mowcher, the inventor of a time machine. They teamed up to visit 1835, and a trouble-making urchin named Fritz stowed away in the machine.[1] One complication resulting from this adventure was that it caused the popular song Stormy Weather, by Harold Arlen, to be "written" almost 100 years earlier.[2] There may be others, but no records remain to chronicle the further activities of Mowcher, Weed, or Fritz.
