Urtumi is a monster who feeds on ectoplasmic energy he siphons off from the human body.
History
The Honru tribe in North America appeased Urtumi every spring by letting him feed off the warriors of the Honru tribe. Urtumi was eventually vanquished by an extraterrestrial force, and a tablet was placed over him in the ground to ensure that as long as the sun shone on the magic tablet, Urtumi would never rise again.
Many centuries later Dr. Steiger found the tablet during an excavation dig and moved it into a museum, unknowingly releasing Urtumi. The Flash realised that the tablet was actually an alien device that absorbs solar rays, which are converted into an energy capable of paralysing Urtumi. The Flash managed to contain Urtumi once again by running around Urtumi to make him disorientated and placing the tablet on the ground where Urtumi fell.
