All-right! Finally, Jonah Hex back to how it should be - a gritty Western. Too bad All-Star Western wasn't this way 30 issues ago, maybe it would still be around. I'm not real sure how it made it 29 issues with the bad stories they were telling. Sorry Justin Gray and Jimmy Palmiotti - but those Amedeus Arkham stories were not up to your usual fare of awesome. This issue, there was drinking, smoking, and shooting. No whining. All-Stars. Goblyn4evil (talk) 21:13, June 22, 2015 (UTC)

    Comics for Halloween

    October 31, 2011 by Goblyn4evil

Who else is giving out comics for Halloween? So far, I've found most of the New 52 a bit too mature for the average 7-year old trick-or-treater, but have decided on the following: Action Comics Vol 2 1, Static Shock Vol 1 1, Supergirl Vol 6 2 #1 was sold-out ;(

Also passing out Usagi Yojimbo, various GI Joe's, some Blue Beetle Vol 2, and other various JLA, Green Lantern, etc. In addition to some awesome fruit bars from Trader Joe's

Anyone else giving out comics? If so, which ones are you passing out? Goblyn4evil 21:11, October 31, 2011 (UTC)

I'm not really sure how I feel about this comic. Was it the best Justice League comic I read? No. Was it the best Justice League #1 comic I read? No. Did I like it? I thought it was okay. First, what I liked: I liked the establishment of the characters - Batman is thought of as an urban legend. He has no powers and talks in a scary voice. Green Lantern is part of an intergalatic police force. His ring is probably the most powerful weapon in the world, he's a bit cocky, and Batman thinks he's a meathead. Now, here's what I didn't like: Jim Lee's art was only okay. For example, look at Jim's depiction of Wonder Woman on the cover, and compare it to an Adam Hughes rendition of her. Which one would you rather date? It's not that I dislike Jim …
