Mistake (?)

Greetings, my fellow-comic-book-readers

Today I enjoyed reading the "Teen Titans"-Comics I bought so far - the first four issues since the relaunch - and at issue two I wondered if where was a hidden made in the timeline:

According to Cassie Sandsmark, the first two issues take place in the 30th and 31st days of October - the days of the third issue are not given - while the fourth issue takes place in new year's eve. In my perspective, that is quite an amount of time for the team to develop, while the JLA seems to need not more than a day. Also it's seems to make even less sense if you include the fact, that Kid Flash and Solstice need two entire months to reach the rest of the main characters through Danny the Street without dying, althoug…

Green Lantern

Greetings, my fellow-comic-book-readers, I am comparatively new to the DC-universe - I started along with the New 52- so it appears, that where are things, that are not quite understandable to me.

But I don't want to beat about the bush. I am not very common with Green Lantern but recently I watched the Green Lantern-Movie starring Ryan Reynolds and thought it was quite enjoyable. So what I don't understand, is why people, who are common with Green Lantern do not seem to like the movie.

I would be pleased if someone could tell me, what the main differences between the movie and the comics are or rather, what makes the movie bad.
