This month, Batman Vol 1 699 is coming out. However, every issue article starting with #693 has an article, but each one has no summary, character list, or trivia stuff. So for about five months, this series has not been updated.--[[User:Mustacheman|Mustacheman]] 19:30, May 1, 2010 (UTC)

Lantern Corps

There are a lot characters being inducted into various Lantern Corps as a part of Blackest Night, and I've noticed you making changes to a lot of articles based on this. This is well appreciated, that stuff definitely needs documenting... but it's a difficult area, and we've had some discussion on it lately that you might not be aware of. It's important to be aware that most of these changes are temporary, and they represent a fraction of the character's history. The problem with identifying characters on their pages as primarily members of New Corps is that it downplays the importance of the rest of their career. For example, a character like Ash being primarily identified as both evil and a black lantern is misleading because in his fifteen or so years of publication he's been a Green Lantern for fourteen of them. And posthumously we recognize characters for what they are best known as. In addition, these characters are possessed by their rings... a Black or Red ring will force someone to do evil actions, but that does not make the characters themselves evil. I'm letting you know to explain why I'm going to be undoing some of your edits on these characters.

Cover dates

Please stop changing the cover dates. I don't know what you're thinking here, but all your changes were incorrect. Maybe you're trying to note the month the comic came out, but in the case of Superman, you were even incorrect there. That box is for COVER dates, not release dates, and unless you want to change every comic in the entire wiki to reflect release dates, please stop now.

Going by cover-dates is official site policy.

Out of Date Comics

I have been looking at multiple series, and have noticed that no one has updated Superman Vol 1, Batman Vol 1, Red Robin Vol 1, Gotham City Sirens Vol 1, Batman: Streets of Gotham Vol 1, or Justice League of America Vol 2 issues in months. Now, I understand that there are multiple problems this wiki has been experiencing, but I find this flabbergasting. I don't have access to these comics, but surely one of you editors do. Can someone help out here?

I'm not quite sure what you mean. Can you give me a specific example?
