Valda was a medieval knight and the daughter of Bradamante.
History
New 52
She met the warrior prince warrior named Arak whom she fought alongside with. The two later married, and she gave birth to a son as well as a daughter. Arak's desire to continuously fight however led him to encounter Brainiac and he was made to forcibly submit to his will, separating him for his family.[1]
Rebirth
Valda was transported to modern-day Earth after striking a beast made of dilustel. Finding her way to a Boston bar, she got into an argument with a man after he heard his tale and made fun of her. She gutted him after he tried to stab her. After she dared anyone else who wanted to challenge her, Wonder Woman confronted and made her surrender while promising to help her. Diana also lent her sword to Valda if she promised to not kill another human.[2]
Using her Invisible Jet, Diana tracked Valda's beast to Vermont. With the help of Dotsia, she discovered the beast was made of dilusteel and striking it had transported Valda to their time. After failing to restrain it, Valda struck the beast despite Diana's warnings that doing so might transport her to a different point in time.[3]
