Notes
- This character or object is an adaptation of Valkyries, a character or object in traditional stories. These include, but may not be limited to religious texts, myth, and/or folk lore. More information on the original can be found at Wikipedia.org.
- Valkyries have appeared with little consistency. In the Golden Age, they were Wonder Woman villains; in the Silver Age, they were involved with Viking Prince and Viking Commando, two warriors alive beyond their time. Eventually, on Prime Earth, the Valkyries and Amazons are revealed to be part of the same race.[1]
- They once, in November 1940, fought the Justice Society, including Doctor Fate, Green Lantern, and the Spectre, to a standstill.
