History
Vanderveer "Van" Wayne was a young cousin of Bruce Wayne. He was a spoiled rich kid and during his visit to his cousin, he got himself into some troubles when he hired a con-artist to impersonate Batman while he posed as Robin. He did all this with the intention of impressing Bruce and his young ward, Dick Grayson, but Van was not aware that they were in fact the real Dynamic Duo. Van had to be rescued by Batman and Robin and in the aftermath of the situation, he learned a humility lesson.

Abilities
- Fencing: Van Wayne is the champion of his school's fencing club.
- Gymnastics: Van has a personal gymnastic instructor and he is well versed on the subject.
Notes
- This version of Van Wayne, including all history and corresponding appearances, was erased from existence following the collapse of the original Multiverse in the 1985–86 Crisis on Infinite Earths event and later restored following the rebirth of the infinite Multiverse during the Dark Crisis of 2022-2023. Even though other versions of the character may have appeared, this information does not apply to those versions.
Trivia
- The exact relationship between Van Wayne and Bruce Wayne is not explained -- they are just "cousins". They cannot be first cousins, because Bruce's father Thomas Wayne's only sibling is Philip Wayne, who had no children.
