History
His wife was murdered at some point. [1] He and two other alien warriors were blackmailed by Brainiac to destroy Superman, but the Man of Steel was able to defeat the villains before Valeron could be destroyed. [2] In a later adventure, Vartox was trying repopulate his planet with Power Girl's help, after space pirates had caused the population to become sterile.
