Venus Smith was an entertainer whose career ended in injury.
History
At one point, Venus Smith was an amateur entertainer who worked with Jessica James. However, she had been in a plane crash which caused severe injury. Doctors said she would need a wheelchair for the rest of her life. Her musical career was over, as people were uncomfortable with entertainers with such visible disabilities. Accepting this, she sought a new life. She had hoped that her compatriot Jessica, who became a successful singer, might use her star power to give a charity concert benefitting people with disabilities. However, Jessica soon became so self-absorbed she forgot her old friend. An embittered Venus vowed revenge, and worked behind the scenes to sabotage Jessica's concerts.
