History
A talented high school athlete, Victor Stone was the star of his school's football team, maintained a 4.0 GPA and was well on his way to a full scholarship to college and possibly a career in the pros. Sadly, despite his accomplishments, nothing Victor did was good enough for his father, Silas Stone, a leading researcher on alien technology at S.T.A.R. Labs, who couldn't leave his work to so much as see one of Victor's games or attend any of the victory parties to speak to the college scouts sent to court his son. One day in his lab, an accident involving an alien machine resulted in an explosion that left Victor on the verge of death. Silas, desperate to save the son he had failed so many times, attempted to use a Father Box he had been researching to heal Victor's body. The machine used the surrounding technology to create a sort of technological cocoon and replaced Victor's destroyed body parts with advanced cybernetics, ultimately replacing Victor's heart.
