History

Zsasz was an inmate in Arkham Asylum and was among the first inmates to be taken from the Asylum by The Flash to a secure facility before a riot breaks out.

Zsasz was hired by Superman during the fifth year of the Regime to interrogate Alfred Pennyworth in the Batcave to find the location of Batman. When Alfred was uncooperative, Zsasz killed him. Zsasz was taken to the new Regime prison in the Arctic for his crimes where he was vengefully killed by Damian Wayne.

Zsasz was retconned to have been killed by Damian soon after the Joker's attack on Superman as a declaration of allegiance to Superman's new regime.

Notes

• Though Zsasz was originally killed by Damian Wayne for killing Alfred Pennyworth during Year Five of Superman's Regime, Zsasz's death was retconned in Injustice 2 to have taken place during Year One, still killed by Damian, as Robin's declaration of allegiance to Superman. Alfred's death was never reexplained.
• Victor Zsasz was voiced by Steve Blum.
