Ginny Jenkins was a Gotham High graduate from the class of '63 who was voted by her classmates to be the "most likely to marry Batman".
History
About five years after her graduation she pretended to elope with Bruce Wayne, who unbeknownst to her was Batman, in order to prevent her criminal brother from killing Wayne. During the confrontation with her brother's accomplice Ginny was shot in the arm and hospitalized at Gotham Hospital.[1]
During her recovery her former classmate Tim Clark worked with her as her physical therapist. Tim overheard Ginny's boss and romantic interest talking about the protection racket he was running while working as a masseuse at the Gotham Health Club and tried to warn her about her beau's less than legal dealings. Ginny thought he was lying and struck him in anger instead of listening so Tim dressed as Batman and uncovered her boss's racket in front of her. After Ginny and Tim were rescued by the real Batman she decided to try dating Tim instead, impressed by his attempt to protect her and refusal to allow the criminals to get away.[2]

- This version of Ginny Jenkins, including all history and corresponding appearances, was erased from existence following the collapse of the original Multiverse in the 1985–86 Crisis on Infinite Earths event and later restored following the rebirth of the infinite Multiverse during the Dark Crisis of 2022-2023. Even though other versions of the character may have appeared, this information does not apply to those versions.
