Vordigan, the Dark Archer, was an enemy of Green Arrow.
History
In his youth, Vordigan joined the Brotherhood of Sion, becoming a master archer. Years later, Vordigan was assigned Oliver Queen as a disciple and trained him for a year. However, Queen left the brotherhood and began operating as the "Green Arrow".[1]
Their paths crossed again in 2010. While on a mission, Vordigan was discovered his skills weakening. He sought out Queen, to getting Queen to kill him and take his place as master. To get Queen to do this, Vordigan went after Lois Lane (a former girlfriend of Oliver Queen), Chloe Sullivan (an ally of Oliver Queen) and Mia Dearden (a disciple of Oliver Queen). As a disciple in the brotherhood, Queen had sworn off all lovers, allies and disciples. An oath he had broken by becoming involved with the three women.[1]
When Queen refused to kill him, Vordigan decided to kill both Queen and Mia Dearden, but was stopped by Clark Kent and incarcerated.[1] However, Vordigan broke out within a year and joined forces with a group named Marionette Ventures. Originally the group's goal had merely been financial gains, but opposition of the Watchtower Network caused the group to redirect their attention to the Watchtower agents. Vordigan was assigned to Green Arrow.[2]
