History
Earth-Two
In 1939 in South America, the bankrupt republic of Vulcania invaded the resource-rich republic of San Columbo. The San Columbo government called in the American soldier-of-fortune Gary Hawkes. On a bombing raid in Vulcanian territory, Hawkes was shot down, but he and his tailgunner survived the landing, and fought their way back to San Columbo. San Columbo successfully repelled the Vulcanian invasion.
Earth-One
In Clark Kent's high school years, Vulcania was in Europe. Superboy had a time-travel adventure in 11th-Century Vulcania.
