Vyrga is home to a race of intelligent insect-like creatures called Vyrgans. These sentients live in the jungles of their planet, enjoying a more natural, less technologically-oriented lifestyle.
History
One of Vyrga's natives Ti'julk Mr'asz has the ability to teleport himself or other objects short distances. He was drafted as his planet's representative in the Legion of Super-Heroes but refused to go. Eventually, his leaders "persuaded" him to join. He was given the name Gates.
