• The Justice Society of America were removed from this reality and forced to fight a never-ending battle against Surtur in the Last Days of the Justice Society Special.

• In this issue, Captain Atom is shown to be corrupted by a darker version of himself as revealed in Captain Atom #57.

• Black Adam's appearances in this series are now considered apocryphal. This version of Black Adam is the one introduced in the Shazam: The New Beginning limited series, which is no longer considered part of canon continuity.
