Warren McGinnis is a character in the "Batman Beyond" future of the DCAU. His son Terry McGinnis becomes the second Batman. His wife is Mary McGinnis and his other son is Matt McGinnis. He was killed by Mister Fixx, under the orders of his employer Derek Powers who believed Warren was going to expose corruption in his company. His death is what inspired Terry to fight crime. It was later revealed that Warren was not truly Terry's biological father, and Terry was born with the DNA of Bruce Wayne thanks to manipulations by Amanda Waller.
Warren McGinnis was created by Paul Dini and Bruce Timm, first appearing in the Batman Beyond pilot episode Rebirth (1999).
