Trivia
- Young Wade's group in 1985 is handing out copies of The Watchtower, the Jehovah's Witness publication. However, their behavior, word usage, and mannerisms are very inconsistent with Jehovah's Witness protocol. It may be that in the Watchmen universe, the newsletter has been appropriated by a fictional religion.
- Wade refers to the building in New York City where the squid landed as the "Institute for Trans-Dimensional Studies". In the original comic, the building is known as the "Institute for Extra-Spatial Studies".
