The Weird is an energy-based being from another dimension.
History
He uses the dead body of Walter Langley as his containment vessel. Storm King used him primarily as a bodyguard for Jenny Soul.
He was later kidnapped by Cyborg Superman who wanted to use his cosmic energy to empower himself and become able to possess living beings but was freed by the combined effort of Deathstroke, Black Canary and Toyman.[1]

- The Weird was created by Jim Starlin and Bernie Wrightson, first appearing in The Weird #1. However, in the Prime Earth continuity, The Weird first appeared as part of the New 52 DC Universe in Stormwatch (Volume 3) #19 by Jim Starlin and Yvel Guichet.
