Notes

  • Frontispiece by Don Newton
  • G.I. Robot is equipped with memory banks and "responsometers," apparently a 1940s-tech precursor to the breakthrough Responsometer invented in the 1960s by Will Magnus.
  • Second story credits Len Wein as "editor/co-plotter".
  • Jasper Pepperdyne launched himself and his starship into space from a giant cannon, atop Mount Everest, in the reign of Queen Victoria. It's not clear how long that cannon remained there, afterward.
  • Creature Commandos: The Doctor Renee Frederique in Weird War Tales #97 was a fake; the real Dr. Frederique dies in this story.
  • Formerly completely mute, Elliot Taylor gains some rudimentary vocal chords in this story.

  • No trivia.
