Synopsis for "Though This Be Madness..."
The Limerick Rakes intercepts a ship with two actors traveling to perform for the empress at the imperial palace on Earth. Ironwolf and Missy take the places of the actors, planning to assassinate the Empress and the vampire Lord Omikel. However, after they have already left the The Limerick Rake, the ship's doctor discovers that the "actress" is actually a man. While greeting the imposters at the palace, Lord Omikel senses that Missy is woman and informs the empress of the deception and they decide to play along. Ironwolf performs the lead in the play Hamlet, which is broadcast across the galaxy. At the end of the play, Missy is poisoned and Lord Omikel attacks Ironwolf. Despite the appearance of the Limerick Rake's crew, the empress and Lord Omikel escape. Iron Wolf and his crew depart, carrying Missy's body
