- Shark was created by Dave Wood and Sheldon Moldoff, first appearing in Detective Comics #253. However, Shark first appeared as part of Prime Earth continuity in Gotham Academy: Second Semester #9 by Brenden Fletcher, Becky Cloonan, and Karl Kerschl.
