Werner Zytle was a drug dealer who became the second crimelord known as Vertigo, after the death of the original; Cecil Adams, becoming the new purveyor of the Vertigo drug and an enemy of Team Arrow.

- Throwing: He has an incredible aim with his vertigo darts.[1]
- Hand-to-Hand Combat (Basic): He held his own against The Arrow. Werner Zytle is a master of pressure points. Using rapid flurries of finger jabs to strike the eyes, throat, solar plexus and numerous pressure points, he was able to quickly disable and overpower the more skilled Oliver as he was suffering from the Vertigo drug.[1]

- Vertigo: Zytle has experimented with the Count's original drug. In addition to Vertigo's original effects, the user also experiences his worst fears, making the hallucinogen an effective weapon.

- This version of the character is exclusive to the continuity of the television series Arrow and is an adaptation of Count Werner Vertigo. The original character was created by Gerry Conway and Trevor von Eeden and first appeared in World's Finest #251.
- The surname "Zytle" originated with the New 52 incarnation of the character.
