The West Side School for the Handicapped is a school for children with physical disabilities. Cyborg's girlfriend Sarah Simms worked there.
History
The school was located in the "West Seventies", the blocks of West 70th Street to West 79th Street in the Upper West Side of Manhattan.[1]
Two of the staff members were Mark Wright and Sarah Simms. Simms was often considered a favored teacher among students, and she often took her children on special field trips to the park or out ice-skating. She developed a deep friendship with the Teen Titan Victor Stone, who became a role model to many of the school's students.
