Whiteout was one of several super-powered underlings who assisted Doctor Polaris in a raid against the recently constructed Green Lantern Citadel in Los Angeles.
History
Doctor Polaris' team joined with another villain, Sonar, and two of his own confederates. The combined group of seven villains stormed at the Citadel, surprising the Green Lanterns who just established there. Whiteout focused his attacks against the team's youngest member Arisia, as well as the newest member of the Earth-based GL Corps Kilowog. However, he was ultimately defeated by Kilowog's brute force, who didn't even need to use his power ring. The group of villains was forced to retreat and rethink their strategy.[1]
Powers and Abilities
Powers
Whiteout can literally erase portions of an opponent's body. The nature of this power is unknown, but those affected by it can still function normally, despite the loss of major organs.
