While on a cruise ship with Taia, Ibis is informed a perfectly healthy woman died overnight, and has a pair of bloodstained puncture marks on her neck. Obviously, the work of the aristocracy of the undead! Following the vibrations of his Ibistick, Ibis knocks down the door of a certain cabin only to find the vampire's already escaped. A look at the ship's manifesto reveals it's reserved to the Baron Orzny and his sister, and Ibis realizes he has not one but two vampires to destroy. Ibis waits on the docks for the vampires to collect their coffins as the baggage is offloaded, but Orzny and Maryani outwit the heroic wizard by changing into bats and sleeping in their coffins in the hold that night.

The following night, Baron Orzny infiltrates Ibis's apartment to remove his threat. The vibrations of great evil from the Ibistick awaken Ibis, and after taking the time to throw on his robe, he chases Orzny into Taia's room, and uses his wand to magically raise the blinds and destroy the vampire with light from the sunrise. The vampire's sister still un-lives, and vows vengeance.
