Synopsis for Captain Marvel: "The Dangerous Dollar"

A blustery wind blows a dollar bill at the feet of Billy Batson, before he's suddenly attacked by a group of gunmen desperate to get that exact bill. Captain Marvel sends them running, but is mystified by criminals being so dedicated to getting such a meager prize. What he doesn't know is that bill has the secret directions to where 50k stolen by Lone Wolf Luke's hidden, and members of a rival gang were trying to get it to find the loot, and the bill slipped away after they shot down Luke himself.

When Cap catches one of the crooks coming back to steal the bill again and gets the story, he finds the Wisdom of Solomon unable to detect any code to any hidden loot on the bill. A strange man with his face hidden by a scarf shows Billy how to expose the real code written in invisible ink. After Cap finds the loot and captures the gang trying to steal it for themselves, he realizes the strange man was the ghost of Lone Wolf Luke, getting his revenge.

Synopsis for Ibis the Invincible: "Legion of the Walking Dead"

With her brother and fellow vampire dead at Ibis's hand, Maryani the vampire magically summons a bat-spirit to learn how to get her revenge on the heroic wizard. It advises her that Ibis is too wise to be overcome in a direction confrontation with supernatural evil, and she needs to lure him into defeating himself.

She poses as a lounge singer, and looking for a diversion, Ibis and Taia drop in at her club and share dinner at her table. Maryani spikes Ibis's drink, and that night he walks forth as a mindless thrall. Taia takes the Ibistick and tries to use it to capture Maryani, but Ibis uses it instead to conjure the snake from the Garden of Eden to capture Taia. Dropping the Ibistick because of its constant vibrating in the presence of evil, Maryani and Ibis turn into bats and fly into the night to feast on the blood of the living.

Taia manages to get to the Ibistick before the snake gets to her, and runs into the street and uses it to turn Ibis back to normal before he can drink blood and become a true vampire forever. Maryani gets the wand and like many of Ibis's enemies is turned to dust when her evil command backfires on her. Ibis then uses it to burn the evil bat-spirit to ash as well.
