A sight-seeing ship departs from the tail end of the 90th century to let its passengers see famous historical disasters. Captain Marvel suspects them of being involved in the disasters, but in the end gets the future tourists to realize how wrong it was to use the suffering of others for sight-seeing tours. The pilot gives Captain Marvel his itinerary of famous disasters for the rest of the year, giving him the chance to save many lives. Unfortunately the book doesn't exist in 1949, and disappears from the hero's hands even as he watches.

Synopsis for Golden Arrow, the Robin Hood of the West: "Quest for Justice!"
A Pony Express rider is shot by outlaw "Slim" Stacey who hides his body and steals his identity, looking for a claim in the mail for Bart Ogden's new silver mine. Everyone in Dry Gulch is suspicious that the regular Pony Expressman, Burt Randolph, isn't there, but Stacey easily claims he's "sick" and retrieves the mail, taking off. Elsewhere, Golden Arrow finds Burt Randolph's body and finds out that "Buck is sick," revealing this is mail robbery. Bart Ogden is horrified. Golden Arrow rides off to the Claims Office at the county seat and soon takes off to find Stacey at the silver mine. Entering, he is nearly winged by a wide shot and hides out while Stacey claims he's doing things the "legal" way. Golden Arrow points out he's taking him in for the murder of Buck Randolph and nearly hits his hat with an arrow to draw him out, then banks an arrow off a stalactite to break his gun in half. He offers they settle this without weapons and Golden Arrow lays into him until he admits he'll turn the mine over to Ogden and is promptly arrested.

Synopsis for Ibis the Invincible: "Ibis the Invincible and the Vampire Cloak!"
Taia schmoozes Ibis into taking her cloak-shopping at Drako's with the big sale on. He even uses his Ibistick to fly them there on a magic carpet, and opens a hole in the roof so they can get into the store without bothering with the crowd outside!
Drako himself helps Taia find a perfect cloak, and even lets her take it home to try it out to see if she likes it for a few days before paying. Because Drako's entire sale was to lure Taia there and capture her in an evil spell. Ibis notices her acting weirdly, like demanding a rare, juicy steak from their restaurant, sitting in front of a roaring fire wearing her cloak (wide open), and telling Ibis that all their silverware's been stolen so she replaced them with wooden utensils. Only for Ibis to find their silverware in the trash, making him wonder what on Earth's gotten into Taia.
That night Taia climbs onto the window ledge, changes into a bat and flies away. Ibis flies after her, but only after arming himself with something from the cupboard: "An ordinary thing used by every housewife, but vampires fear it more than the Ibistick!"
Drako turns out to be the head of a coven of vampires, who's chosen Taia to be his undead bride. Fortunately, Ibis crashes in, borne on the winged shoes of Mercury, but after bopping a few vampires, is too relieved to see Taia to notice Drako before the vampire lord bops him over the head. Drako tries to make Taia complete her transformation into a vampire by having her first taste of human blood, which he poetically decides should be Ibis. However, the wizard fends her off by puffing garlic fumes into her face. Drako tries to use the Ibistick to magically split Ibis in half. Like many evildoers before him, Drako learns the hard way that the Ibistick backfires on anyone trying to use it to harm its true owner. Ibis then uses his magic to open a portal to Hell to send the other vampires "to their proper places!"
