Synopsis for Ibis: "Ibis the Invincible Meets Death!"

Ibis lays on his deathbed, and hands the Ibistick to Taia to use and guard in his absence. Not long after, the ancient prince expires. Soon after, a Dr. Van Der Looten comes to visit Taia, having hoped to meet Ibis and gets his help. It turns out their old enemy the black magician Karnak is not only alive, he's reviving worship of the blasphemous evil spirit Moloch. Taia uses the Ibistick to conjure a screen that confirms Van Der Looten's claims, but as soon as she leaves the room, he picks up the Ibistick and is teleported to the site of Karnak's evil congregation.

Some members of the cult demand proof of Moloch's power before they'll go any farther, and Karnak obliges by magically bringing their idol to life. This was what Van Der Looten had been waiting for, and he uses the Ibistick to bind the animate statue in chains. He's attacked by the cultists and eventually brought down, then unmasked as none other than Prince Ibis. He'd faked his death because of a threat Karnak had made against Taia. With the confiscated Ibistick, Karnak magically summons Taia, then commands Moloch to devour them. Ibis uses a hidden knife to stab Moloch's thumb so that he drops the two. As now that the demon is alive, he can feel pain too. After getting back the Ibistick from landing on top of Karnak, Ibis uses it to turn the demon to snow, and conjures a lasso to capture the cult.
