Quote1 Holy Moley! That creature must've been frozen in the ice! Now under this hot sun it's being revived! It's a giant insect of prehistoric times! Many ancient creatures were frozen this way by the Ice Age, like the mammoth! But this is an unknown extinct insect of terrific size! Quote2

They manage to dodge the first torpedo with quick steering by moving in a serpentine pattern, but find that the lagoon is also filled with sharks. They duck into a "grotto" in the seaweed and find it to be think and jungle-like, inhabited by blind catfish-like serpents and Lance manages to kill one with a knife. Lance manages to find a pier where Capt. Krudd's men sleep and fixes their torpedoes' steering. The next time they try to fire them, the torpedo comes back and destroys Krudd's submarine while Mike soon rescues Lance and drags him aboard. They punch out Krudd and his surviving men and arrest them, burn down the pier and shack, then use the last torpedo to destroy their giant magnet and ending the Sargasso Trap forever. Synopsis for Golden Arrow: "Golden Arrow and The Birdmen"

Golden Arrow is attacked by a Native man throwing a tomahawk at him when he comes near a cave. Chief Hawk Eye approaches and tells the braves to not attack, saying they are protecting the "Golden Tomahawk," a jewel-encrusted treasure of theirs that they leave in this cave for one week a year as a offering to their "Bird God," who will someday claim it. Chief Hawk Eye offers he join them for a big feast they'll have (since today is the last day of the offering,) but when they leaves two green birdmen appear and claim the Golden Tomahawk for Bird God. They report this good omen, but Golden Arrow worries those were just men in costumes that stole the ceremonial weapon. Chief Hawk Eye points out all the people in town know about their worship of Bird God and Golden Arrow accepts it for now. The next day, he learns from Chief Hawk Eye that if Bird God accepts the Tomahawk, he has to go to a special cave at noon and take gold from it to get back the Golden Tomahawk. Nearby at the general store, Walsh and Burton, who have been dressing up as Birdmen to steal gold from this tribe, resolve to kill Golden Arrow so they can keep stealing gold from this tribe. That night, they break into Golden Arrow's hotel room and try to rough him up, but end up having to yank a pillowcase over his head to escape, knowing they can't win a fair fight. The morning after, Golden Arrow heads out to protect the gold cave, but White Wind is caught by a tripwire. The two outlaws try to throw Golden Arrow off a cliffside, but he manages to catch a rock with his bow. The two "Birdmen" soon find there was no gold exchange in his belief and that Chief Hawk Eye used this fake rumor to find out if he was being taken advantage of, so they try to beat him and take the gold he has with him instead. Golden Arrow manages to beat the outlaws down the mountain by using arrows for a series of dramatic jumps and then dives into a river. Waiting in a tree, he jumps down and knocks out both "Birdmen" and then tells them they're going to jail once the Chief gets his gold back.
