Synopsis for Ibis the Invincible: "The Return of the Flying Dutchman"
The Flying Dutchman has returned and is again attacking members of Allied Forces so its captain can keep his soul out of the clutches of the devil. When Ibis confronts him, the captain says that while Ibis thought the ghosts were banished after their last encounter, it only made the dead flesh fall from their bones. He repeats his demand that Taia give him her love to break his curse (despite homely nurse Sarah Primm being all too eager to supply her own). Again Taia refuses, and the captain has them bound to tend to later, so he can tell the Axis it's safe to invade Iceland with all the damage his attacks have done.
That seen to, the captain makes to use his withering touch to exact his revenge on Ibis. Fortunately, Taia's managed to find the Ibistick and uses it to make the nurse beautiful. Now the captain accepts her love, and only scoffs when Satan appears in a burst of brimstone and tells him to return to his duties. With the curse broken, he and his crew become living men again, and help fight off the German invaders making landfall.
