Synopsis for Ibis the Invincible: "The Slave of the Lamp"

A lowly vagrant scrounging in a pile of scrap metal bound for the Allied war effort happens to find Aladdin's lamp and summons the genie. After the genie supplies him with a palace and piles of treasure, the vagrant generously offers repayment and the genie takes it by seizing the lamp, making him his own master and free to use his powers for diabolical ends. He attacks the vagrant, but Ibis is summoned by the use of evil magic and saves him, causing the genie to flee until he's more used to his newfound freedom.

After a robbery spree, the genie decides to set himself up as ruler of the world. Since a king needs a queen, he magically zaps Taia to his palace and tries to woo her. Ibis trails his lover to the genie's palace and shrinks himself to get inside. Seeing Ibis restore himself to normal size prompts the genie to show off his own growing prowess, until genie and wizard have grown to cosmic scale and battle in outer space. Meanwhile Taia finds the genie's lamp, forgotten in the tumult, and simply uses it to force the genie to return inside. Ibis blips the lamp out of existence to keep the genie from running wild ever again.
