Synopsis for Ibis the Invincible: "The City of Skeletons!"

A pair of patriotic spinsters ask Ibis to perform as a fortuneteller at a war aid bazaar they're holding, but he declines as he cannot use his magic for trivialities like entertainment. They run into a Rashid Ali who volunteers his services, but through the magic of a captive "jinnee", Ali actually opens a portal to the realm of the dead and divests a couple of their valuables while they're terrified by a pack of skeletal horsemen riding them down. This use of evil magic alerts Ibis, and he and Taia arrive at the event only to find themselves in the Arabesque land of the dead, when Taia's dragged through Ali's portal.

Taia's sold as a slave to a pair of skeleton brothers, and when Ibis overhears this at the slave market, he's attacked but turns his opponents into ant hills. Some rescued slave girls tell Ibis where his princess has been taken, and he rescues her by setting her owners on fire. After escaping the city gates, the Ibistick has regained enough power to destroy the City of Skeletons in one mighty blast. Back on the other side, Ibis burns Ali's magic tent, trapping him in the world of the dead.
