Synopsis for Ibis the Invincible: "The Viking Horde"
A shipyard is suddenly beset by a horde of ancient Vikings, who attack fiercely and leave nothing standing in their wake. Ibis is warned in time to intervene the next time the Vikings appear, and conjures the Vikings' king. He informs them they've been deceived by the man who sent them to cripple American shipbuilding, and Ibis asks to be taken to this man. A German scientist named Butcher Brains, who's in the process of using a ray gun to defrost another Viking warrior from glacial ice to join his cause. His weapon banishes the Viking king, allowing Butcher to convince his underlings they've been deceived, and have them seize Ibis.
The wicked scientist reveals his secret: he found the Vikings frozen in an iceberg, and passed himself off as one of them to gain their service in attacking American shipyards. He leaves Ibis in the iceberg, planning to let him freeze solid too. Taia has seen where Ibis went in their crystal ball and goes to help, but is immediately discovered and pursued by the Vikings warriors. While escaping, Taia spots the Ibistick on the floor and bowls over her pursuers. She then magically makes Butcher switch places in the ice with Ibis. Freed, Ibis magically places the Vikings back in the iceberg too, and leaves it to drift away.

Synopsis for "Pee Wee Pete"
Six-year old Pee Wee Pete finds that his 1,000-pound barbell is proving too easy to lift of late. Walking through town, Pete has his nose deep in a book on neanderthal psychology theories, for which his friend teases him before asking Pete if they should get sodas down at the corner. Before she can finish the question, though, Pete has already raced off to a jewelry store he noticed was being robbed. Pete interrupts the stickup and warns the criminals to desist, but they laugh at him, not taking him seriously. Pete punches one across the room and throws a box at the other's head. He binds the two stunned would-be thieves and instructs the store's owner to call the police and file a report. Pete rushes over and returns to his friend, and the two head to the library, where Pete returns his book on neanderthals—much to the chagrin of his friend, who still wants a soda.
