Synopsis for Captain Marvel: "... and the Vanishing Park"

Sivana uses a ray to make an entire park turn invisible, which leads to all the still-visible people and animals running into the invisible scenery and falling into the ponds. When Sivana shows up to mock Captain Marvel, he gets away because he memorized where all the obstacles are and can get around them, while the hero crashes into things and loses sight of his quarry. He holds the city for ransom or else the park will be a perpetual safety hazard. Cap tries to spring a trap on Sivana by delivering the money himself, but this doesn't work as Sivana points out that they can arrest him all they like, but they won't know where his ray machine is and nothing will have changed. In order to return things to normal, Billy offers to give himself up to Sivana bound and gagged. The evil scientist accepts and takes Billy back to his lair, then throws him out the window. Not having reckoned that Billy had cut almost all the way through one of his ropes beforehand and is able to tear it away and say his magic word before he hits the ground. Captain Marvel then flies back up, captures Sivana, and smashes his ray machine.

Synopsis for Ibis the Invincible: "On Trial"

Ibis invades the sanctum of the warlock Thungor before he has a chance to start a cult of practicioners of witchcraft. Although Thungor's house and all of its evil secrets are consumed in Ibistick-conjured fire, one of Thungor's bats hits Ibis in the face and distracts him for the few seconds the malefactor himself needs to escape. Thungor then lures Ibis into chasing him back through time, where the heroic wizard finds Thungor has cannily lured him back to the days of the Salem witch trials. Ibis protects himself with magic but is eventually taken by surprise, and Thungor commands the Ibistick to return to 1946 without its owner. Taia sees it and uses the wand to travel to Ibis' side. When Ibis is about to be burned at the stake she turns the flames into water. Thungor tries to escape by turning into a bat, but Ibis conjures a hawk that crushes the nocturnal mammal.
