Synopsis for "Capt. Marvel Fights the Sivana Family"

In short succession Captain Marvel meets and thwarts the nefarious schemes of Dr. Sivana, his son and daughter. Since they were defeated individually, Dr. Sivana suggests they all join forces to get rid of the hero. Swallowing "flying pills", they swoop down on Billy before he knows he's in danger. In typical overwrought fashion the Sivanas tie Billy to a balloon to take him up so high he'll suffocate, but he manages to kick himself free, change back to Captain Marvel, and stop the still-flying Sivanas from robbing a plane.

Synopsis for Ibis the Invincible: "The Lonely Triton"

A legendary triton is put out when his merman servant dies of old age, not sharing the gift of immortality his master enjoys. The triton is further annoyed when the fish he tries to catch for his dinner is yanked from his hands by an oblivious Ibis and Taia, on a fishing trip. He tries to make the best of it and carry them off to be his new servants, but is seen off when Ibis magically endows Taia with superhuman strength. Even more annoyed now, the triton blows on a magic horn that conjures a storm and sinks the ship, allowing him to carry Taia back to his lair. Ibis pursues, but finds his magic ineffective on the triton's home ground. Ibis tries to take his opponent on hand-to-hand, but for once that proves ineffective and the ancient wizard is defeated.

Realizing he can't defeat this foe, Ibis magically conjures up another triton to give his foe an equally powerful opponent. Instead, the triton befriends this new example of his kind, glad for the companionship, which allows Ibis and Taia to whisk themselves home without further incident.
