Synopsis for Ibis the Invincible: "School for Sorcerors"

The wizard Karnok, "the world's master of evil", instructs his pupils to bring sacrifices to their evil god in order to complete their training. The monstrous-looking apprentice Leku gets ambitious and determines to capture the most impressive possible sacrifice: no-one less than the great white wizard Ibis. His attempt to magically bake Ibis to death in his apartment fails when the hero commands his trusty wand to restore the temperature to normal, and then to take him to the party responsible.

For bringing their cult to the white wizard's attention, Karnok places a wasting curse on Leku. Ibis appears in their temple, but Karnok manages to capture Ibis after a pair of toughs jump him from behind and make him drop the Ibistick. Leku, now a shriveled mess, interrupts the sacrificial ceremony to throw Ibis his wand back in revenge on his former master. Ibis destroys the temple and the cult of evil sorcerers, but the heroic wizard has an eerie feeling Karnok's own great magic allowed to him escape, and one day they'll meet again.
