Synopsis for "Killer Instinct Prologue: First Blood"
Grifter and Zealot break into a research facility on Gamorra Island following a lead on a Daemonite exploiting Gamorran bio-synthetic technology. After fighting their way through a squad of cybernetic Hunter-Killers, Grifter is confronted by Heinrich Richtoffen, former Cyberdata scientist and current member of the Cabal. He intends to develop an army of synthetic Daemonite soldiers based on Spartan in order to wipe out the Kherubim. Richtoffen and his ally, Misery, attack and almost defeat Grifter when Void teleports in with the rest of the team. Voodoo uses her powers to exorcise the Daemonite from Richtoffen, and then Spartan kills it. Maul and Warblade confront Misery who, it turns out, is Reno's former lover. Spartan downloads the data on his design, setting off the facility's auto-destruct system. The team teleports out, but an enraged Warblade refuses to leave and keeps fighting with Misery. Safely aboard the MIRV as it flies away, the WildC.A.T.s watch the facility explode.
