Wildcats: World's End #3 is an issue of the series WildCats: World's End (Volume 1) with a cover date of November, 2008.

Synopsis for "Eden - Part One"

While testing the newly rebuilt M.I.R.V. aircraft, Spartan, Warblade, and Ladytron discover a lush forest where there once was only desert. They return to Halo and tell the other Wildcats about this discovery. Jodi, having gained insight from hacking Stormwatch's files, says that it might be the Nevada Garden created by the original Engineer that was believed to be destroyed. After hearing this, Spartan decides to have the team travel to the forest in hopes of using the technology to benefit their situation and presumably the world.

As the rest of the Wildcats head for the hangar, Spartan personally talks with Voodoo conferring her powers if it is still in sync with the Earth. Voodoo replies that she can't make any sense of her communications with the planet given the spirits of the Earth are in disarray since Armageddon. She noticeably tells Spartan that he is becoming more capable as a leader again. Though Spartan admits that he isn't the same as his previous forms, Voodoo assures him that he is still who he is and the man she cares for. As Voodoo says this, Jeremy Stone watches this in the shadows, showing himself clearly upset.

When the Wildcats arrive at the garden, they find a small encampment of people on the edge of the forest. They say that no humans are allowed into the forest, except for the animals, because there are some sort of monsters guarding it. Curious, the Wildcats decide to investigate. After venturing into the forest, Jeremy takes note that the forest is a mash-up "rainforest next to African veldt next to American forest," therefore it is not natural. Voodoo also does not detect any signs of mystic energy in the forest, ruling out magic to be the cause. Then suddenly, the team is attacked by monstrous animal-like creatures. The fighting soon stops when Jodi recognizes one of the monsters as Gramalkin, an old ally of her father. Grifter realizes that the rest of the creatures are the Kindred.

After recognizing Jodi, Gramalkin reassures the Kindred and Paris, formerly of Stormwatch P.H.D., that the Wildcats are friends. Paris is leading the group and tells the Wildcats that he himself and the Kindred are defending the forest for the surviving animals, not for humans, and demands the team to leave the forest. Spartan tries to reason with Paris but Grifter steps in and engages Paris in a fight.
