Synopsis for "A Halo Round the World"
In San Diego, the body of a Gamorran clone crashes through a store displaying Spartan drones. In a back alley of a Latin American city, a young boy begs a drunken Grifter for protection from a gang of thugs. The gang finds them, beats up Grifter, and takes the boy. Aboard the Halo Solutions space station, Voodoo arrives to meet with Spartan. As they walk through the station, they discuss the success of Halo and how he wants to improve superheroics. Their reunion turns romantic, and they have sex. Afterward, he reveals he is re-forming the Wildcats and wants her to join. In an e-mail to Spartan, Warblade reports on his infiltration of a Gamorran operation in the asteroid belt, revealing that the Gamorrans have resurrected Kaizen Gamorra and allied themselves with Helspont and the Daemonites. On Khera, Zealot and the Coda Sisterhood fight to defend the Omnia Codex from a Daemonite invasion. Majestic arrives to help and states that Earth is next. Back on Earth, Grifter rescues the boy and kills the gang of thugs, all of whom were Daemonites.

Notes
- Due to increasing pressure on Grant Morrison from DC editorial to focus his attention on DC books (specifically, his run on Batman), he ultimately had to give up any future plans for this volume of Wildcats, resulting in this issue becoming, essentially, a one-shot.
