Synopsis for "The Authority: Requiem"
In 1918 London, Jenny Sparks received a letter from her predecessor, the Spirit of the 19th Century, informing her status as the Spirit of the 20th Century and that she will live for precisely one hundred years. She will not age, she will simply cease to be much to Jenny's displeasure.
In August 1999, Jenny leads the Authority against a hostile swarm of plant-like alien creatures in Ash Point, North Carolina. The creatures first came to Mars but find the barren planet inhospitable before moving to Earth to feed on "human compost". After the Doctor could not change or relocate the entire swarm, Jenny developed a plan. She orders the Doctor and the Engineer to make the Carrier to summon a door large enough to encompass all the creatures and send them to Songliang, a ghost city, where Hawksmoor can command the entire city to kill the creatures. The plan succeeds in which the creatures cannot thrive in the completely urban environment and Hawksmoor commands Songliang to crush them.
Despite being near the end of her life, Jenny remembers the letter from her predecessor, telling her to live her life "like a song the world and the stars never forget."

Synopsis for "The Only Constant"
Spartan, much to his confusion, finds himself in a dreamscape where he is reunited with the spirit of Lord Emp, who wants to reminisce about the good times with the Wildcats. They talk about how their team began as a covert action team fighting the evil Daemonites until they returned to their home world, where they discovered their war had been over for centuries and threw everything into question. From there, the Wildcats chose to redefine themselves in order to give them purpose.
After Emp ascended to another plane of existence, he left his mantle to Spartan who shifted the Wildcats' goals to corporate business to give the world what it needs. The team had experienced great triumphs and great tragedies in their history, but the one thing that doesn't change them is each other. Their shared bond is what made it possible to do the things no one else could, or dared to.
Emp expresses his appreciation to Spartan for keeping that bond alive and he wanted to tell him this before things change again. Spartan thanks Emp and is glad to know that his mentor is still watching him and the Wildcats.

Synopsis for "Better Days"
Sometime after Armageddon ravaged Earth in which its heroes failed to stop, Majestic visits a ruined New York City to reminisce at a diner where years ago he, Zealot, Jenny Sparks, Midnighter, Jackson King, and Christine Trelane met together to discuss about saving the world. King outlined a way that the Wildcats, the Authority, and Stormwatch can set aside their rivalries and inter-agency disputes to better protect Earth from constant danger. Everyone agreed to King's idea in which, as suggested by Jenny, they make a toast to their agreement.
In the present, Majestic and the others did their best to protect what's left of their world. Even though Earth lies in ruins, life still persists and people like Majestic are given the chance to rebuild their world.
