History
Doctor Wiley Summers is an archaeologist who was researching volcanic lava at Lassen Volcanic National Park when he discovered a race of sentient clouds that invaded the surface world of earth. He later would be rebuked by the scientific community for his claims, though he still maintained speaking positions.[1]
Early in Barry Allen's courtship with Iris, Summers served as a possible love-interest for Iris, [2] but it developed into more of friendship.

- This version of Wiley Summers, including all history and corresponding appearances, was erased from existence following the collapse of the original Multiverse in the 1985–86 Crisis on Infinite Earths event and later restored following the rebirth of the infinite Multiverse during the Dark Crisis of 2022-2023. Even though other versions of the character may have appeared, this information does not apply to those versions.
