William Glenmorgan was an explorer who ended up going to Monster Rock Island, building a new, rough life there as Congo Bill.[1]
History
Congorilla was considered as a possible new member for the Justice League International by United Nations head of intelligence Andre Briggs. They decide he was not right as a candidate for the team at that time, and he was not invited to join.[2]

- Congo Bill was created by Whitney Ellsworth and George Papp, first appearing in More Fun Comics #56. However, in the Prime Earth continuity, Congo Bill first appeared as part of the New 52 DC Universe in Damage (Volume 2) #14 by Robert Venditti and Aaron Lopresti.
