Inspector Henderson is a detective with the Metropolis Police Department, and often the one that converses with the press, including reporters Lois Lane and Clark Kent.
History
Henderson was the lead detective present when the body of Doctor Samuel Platt was found electrocuted in an abandoned hotel.[1] When a bomb was detonated in the lobby of the Carlin building, Henderson was again the lead detective on scene, assisting in the reconstruction of the detonated bomb.[2]

- This version of the character is exclusive to the continuity of the television series Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman and is an adaptation of Inspector Bill Henderson. The original character was created by Dennis Cooper and Lee Backman and first appeared in the episode "The Case of the Talkative Dummy" of the series Adventures of Superman.
- Inspector Henderson was portrayed by three actors during the run of the show:
- Mel Winkler in "Pilot"
- Brent Jennings in "Neverending Battle"
- Richard Belzer in "All Shook Up", "Witness", "Foundling", and "The House of Luthor"
- The character's ethnicity shifted when Belzer took over the role as both Winkler and Jennings are African American.
