William "Bill" Knightley was mystical hero inspired by the Atlantean demigod of legend, Arion. Upon learning of the Lord of Order's death, he would take the name Arion to jumpstart his superhero career.
History
Hearing about the death of Arion during the attack by the Princes of Darkness, Knightley took the name of Arion and began using it to gain respect from members of the magical community. Bill assisted Earth's mystics during the Infinite Crisis.
However, a year later he had fallen on hard times and took to hanging around the Oblivion Bar, hitting on women to little effect. When the real Arion appeared from the past, he kidnapped his "successor" and used him as an advisor. When he was defeated, he returned to his own time, leaving Knightley to be arrested in his stead.

Powers
- Magic: Bill was capable enough to replicate the effects of Arion's magic, able to take on his distinct sigil.[1]
- Scrying Spells: Bill was able to utilzie scrying spells to learn of Arion's ultimate fate in the present time.[2]
